ugee launches Funbox 3D printer for children in Singapore and Hong Kong
Digital creative brand ugee has announced the launch of Funbox, a desktop 3D printer specifically designed for children and beginners. The product is currently available for shipping to customers in Singapore and Hong Kong.
Designed for children aged 6 to 12, the Funbox emphasizes safety and ease of use for STEAM education. It features a fully enclosed body design, a 12V low-voltage power supply to prevent electric shock, and an H12 HEPA filter with activated carbon to purify air during the printing process. The device has received several international safety certifications, including UL GREENGUARD and ASTM F963-23.
The printer is pre-assembled to allow for immediate use without complex mechanical adjustments. It includes AI-driven tools, such as the AI ShapeGen algorithm, which can convert voice descriptions, text, or hand-drawn doodles into 3D models. The device is compatible with standard 1.75mm PLA filament and is controlled via the UFun mobile application.
