UGFS RUN returns for 5th edition to combat school dropout

The fifth edition of the UGFS RUN, a solidarity sporting event, is scheduled to take place on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at La Marsa. Organized by UGFS North Africa in partnership with the Tunisia Green Building Council, the event aims to raise awareness and combat school dropout rates.

Participants can choose from several categories, including a 10-kilometer race for club runners, a 5-kilometer race for the general public, and a 1-kilometer ‘Kids Run’ for children. Organizers expect between 1,500 and 1,800 participants.

Proceeds from the event will be dedicated to social causes, specifically the rehabilitation and renovation of a school in Aïn Draham, located in the Jendouba governorate. The initiative seeks to combine physical activity with social responsibility to support children's education.
