UGL Istruzione calls for strengthening Italian school system

Ornella Cuzzupi, National Secretary of UGL Istruzione and member of the High Council of Public Education, has called for the continued strengthening of the Italian school system as the new academic year begins. She emphasized the importance of ensuring teacher coverage, adequate teaching resources, and the safety of school environments.

Cuzzupi expressed support for a recent allocation of over 114 million euros for school buildings, noting that this should supplement the more than 12 billion euros already allocated through the PNRR and national funds. Additionally, she highlighted the need to manage the challenges posed by artificial intelligence by establishing clear rules and training both teachers and students for its functional use.
