Ugreen and QNAP announce new NAS hardware solutions
Ugreen and QNAP have introduced new Network Attached Storage (NAS) solutions targeting different user segments.
Ugreen has released the NASync DXP2800 GT, a compact 2-bay NAS designed for ambitious private users, small offices, and creators. It features an AMD Ryzen Embedded R2514 processor, 10-Gbit LAN, and two M.2 slots. While noted for its high-quality build and quiet operation, it lacks volume encryption and has a relatively high idle power consumption.
QNAP has unveiled the TS-432XeU, a 1U rack-mount NAS with a short depth of 292.1 mm, specifically designed for space-constrained environments like small offices, production sites, or vehicle installations. The device is powered by a quad-core 1.7 GHz AnnapurnaLabs AL324 ARM processor and includes four SATA bays. Networking capabilities include one 10GbE-SFP+ port and two 2.5GbE-RJ45 ports, supporting Docker container applications and SMB Multichannel.
