UGREEN launches solar-powered FineTrack Pro smart tag

UGREEN has released the FineTrack Pro, a solar-powered smart tag designed to eliminate the need for manual battery replacements. The device features a solar panel covering nearly its entire surface, allowing it to recharge automatically when exposed to light. According to the manufacturer, a single full charge can last up to two years.

Compatible with Apple’s ‘Find My’ network, the tag can be set up directly through the iPhone app without requiring additional software. It allows users to locate items on a map or trigger a 110dB sound to find nearby objects. The device supports location sharing with up to five Apple devices.

The FineTrack Pro is rated IP68 for dust and water resistance, capable of withstanding submersion in up to 1.5 meters of water for 30 minutes. While the solar charging mechanism is highly effective for items kept in light-exposed areas like backpacks, the device is not suitable for dark environments like wallets. Note that the product is exclusive to Apple users and is not compatible with Android.
