UGREEN releases ultra-slim Nexode Air GaN charger series

UGREEN has released the Nexode Air series of ultra-slim GaN chargers designed for portability and compact spaces. The 45W model features a thickness of 0.57 inches (1.2cm) and includes foldable prongs, making it suitable for mobile use with devices like the iPhone 17 series and various tablets.

The 65W Nexode Air Slim (X865) model offers a highly compact profile with a height of 14.5mm (excluding the plug), designed to fit behind furniture or in crowded bags without blocking adjacent outlets. It supports multiple protocols, including PD 3.2, PPS, and QC, ensuring compatibility with Apple and Samsung devices.

Testing indicates that while the slim design is highly practical for commuters and travelers, the ultra-flat form factor can lead to heat buildup. Under continuous full load, temperatures can reach up to 65°C, which may cause slight power throttling. Additionally, when multiple devices are connected simultaneously, the power output on the primary port may decrease.
