The Secretariat for Urbanism and Construction Affairs has announced a public inspection of the Detailed Regulation Plan (PDR) for Ugrinovačka Street, covering the area from the T-6 road to Mihajlo Pupin Boulevard.

The project spans 25.45 hectares and aims to increase the area dedicated to the road network from 10.43 to 16.44 hectares. A primary objective is to connect the T-6 road and Mihajlo Pupin Boulevard, which is intended to divert transit traffic away from the old center of Zemun, specifically relieving Cara Dušana and Glavna streets.

Key features of the plan include expanding Ugrinovačka Street to four lanes (two in each direction) with widths of 7 meters or 6.5 meters depending on the section. The reconstruction will also include a central divider, greenery, sidewalks, bicycle paths, enhanced public lighting, and a new closed rainwater sewage system. Additionally, the plan proposes several modern roundabouts at major intersections to improve traffic flow.
