Uhaa Nation discusses WWE release and TNA appearance

Professional wrestler Uhaa Nation, formerly known as Apollo Crews in WWE, has shared details regarding his recent release from WWE and his subsequent appearance in TNA Wrestling.

In an interview with Chris Van Vliet, Nation discussed the circumstances of his WWE departure, noting that he had anticipated the possibility due to a lack of television appearances. He described receiving the news via a brief phone call while at his son’s basketball practice.

Nation also explained how he secured a spot at TNA Slammiversary despite being within a 90-day non-compete period following his release. He stated that TNA coordinated with WWE through their existing partnership to facilitate the appearance. He further revealed that he specifically requested not to lose his first match outside of WWE, leading to a three-way match where he did not take the pin.
