Uherské Hradiště begins Slovácké slavnosti vína festivals

The Slovácké slavnosti vína (Slovácko Wine Festivals) have commenced in Uherské Hradiště, featuring a colorful procession of thousands of participants in traditional folk costumes. The parade, led by local council representatives and various folklore groups, traveled a two-kilometer route to Masarykovo náměstí.

This year's festivities involve eight microregions and dozens of surrounding municipalities, including delegations from Uherský Brod and various regional groups such as Východní Slovácko and Bílé Karpaty. The event includes musical performances by brass bands, cimbalom music, and choirs, as well as presentations from local winemakers, artisans, and regional gastronomy stalls. International guest groups from Slovakia and Croatia are also scheduled to perform.
