Uici Ragusa members participate in fifth ‘In Moto Senza Vista’ motorcycle tour

The fifth edition of ‘In Moto Senza Vista’ recently took place in Ragusa, providing members of the Unione italiana dei ciechi e degli ipovedenti (Uici) with a motorcycle experience facilitated by volunteers from Angeli in Moto.

The tour departed from Piazza San Giovanni in Ragusa, traveling through Chiaramonte Gulfi, Monterosso Almo, and Giarratana, while passing the Santa Rosalia dam. The event aimed to offer participants a sense of autonomy and freedom through the motorcycle experience.

Following the ride, participants visited Castello di Donnafugata for a historical tour. Salvatore Albani, president of Uici Ragusa, expressed gratitude to the volunteers, noting that such experiences allow individuals with disabilities to access intense and authentic emotions.
