Uijeongbu City implements welfare and community support initiatives

Uijeongbu City is implementing several community support initiatives aimed at improving the welfare and living conditions of vulnerable populations. The Uijeongbu Public Health Center is distributing epidemic prevention supplies to high-risk groups to mitigate health damage from pests and infectious diseases.

In Uijeongbu 2-dong, the local community center received a donation of thermal adhesive wallpaper from a local business, 'Yetgol Ssambap & Wanggalbi,' to help improve the indoor living environments of low-income households.

Additionally, the Uijeongbu Senior Club has been recognized for its excellence in senior employment and social activity support, receiving an award from the Ministry of Health and Welfare for the fifth consecutive year. The city also recently hosted a culinary event to revitalize the old downtown commercial district by connecting residents with traditional market ingredients.
