UiPath announces Maestro Flow for AI agent orchestration

UiPath has announced the launch of UiPath Maestro Flow, a developer-first orchestration canvas designed to bridge the gap between AI-driven prototyping and enterprise-grade production. The tool allows developers to use popular coding agents—such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and Codex—to design, execute, monitor, and govern end-to-end business processes as a single deliverable.

Maestro Flow aims to solve the fragmentation and governance challenges that arise when companies attempt to implement AI agents into complex business systems. By integrating AI agents, robots, APIs, documentation, and human intervention into a single workflow, the platform enables a code-first development approach. This allows developers to move prototypes directly into production environments without the need for reconstruction or platform changes, maintaining speed while ensuring reliability and observability.

Raghu Malpani, UiPath’s Chief Product and Technology Officer, noted that while building agents has become easier, the primary challenge for enterprises lies in orchestration. The new feature operates on the existing UiPath Maestro orchestration engine. For developers looking to test the capabilities, the company is also offering UiPath Maestro Lite, a lightweight option for processes that do not require large-scale management.
