Uisp Pistoia unveils mural to promote sports inclusion

The Uisp Pistoia committee is inaugurating a new mural titled ‘Immagina… Uno sport davvero per tutti’ (Imagine… A sport truly for everyone) at its headquarters in Pistoia’s Fornaci district. Created by the Art in the Park collective, the artwork is intended to promote social inclusion and address the various barriers—economic, social, and cultural—that prevent full participation in sports.

The initiative aligns with the organization’s 2026-2027 membership campaign, using the metaphor of overcoming physical obstacles in sports to represent the removal of societal hurdles. Uisp Pistoia president Roberto Boschi noted the organization’s long-standing commitment to accessibility, including 35 years of swimming programs for individuals with disabilities.
