Uisp renovates sports facilities in Grosseto with LED lighting and cameras

The Uisp sports committee in Grosseto has completed a significant renovation of its multi-purpose facilities located on Viale Europa, which host five-a-side football and tennis.

The upgrades include the complete reconstruction of two out of three fields using latest-generation synthetic grass designed for stability and weather resistance. Additionally, the facility has seen the installation of modern LED lighting, a total renovation of the changing rooms, and the implementation of a new digital feature: fixed cameras on all three fields. These cameras will allow for the real-time recording and coverage of amateur football matches and tournaments.

Uisp President Massimo Ghizzani stated that the goal is to promote sports for everyone by focusing on high-quality facilities. He described the camera installation as a pilot project aimed at digitalization that could eventually be expanded to other sports, such as 11-a-side football.
