Ujjain: Two killed in Karni Sena faction clash

A violent clash between two factions of the Karni Sena organization resulted in two deaths and three injuries near the Lucky Darbar Dhaba in the Kanipura area of Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh.

The conflict reportedly stemmed from a dispute over organizational positions. According to reports, the groups had initially met to discuss a settlement and shared a meal. However, a disagreement escalated into a physical confrontation late Wednesday night. One faction allegedly summoned 10 to 15 individuals armed with knives and swords to the location.

The deceased have been identified as Rahul Singh (also referred to as Vijay Pratap) and Jitendra Singh. Witnesses stated that prior to the attack, an individual named Shakti Singh called a relative of the victim, warning them to save their brother if possible. Police have registered a case and are investigating the incident, with some individuals reportedly taken into custody.
