UK and US Announce Fully Funded 2027 Fellowship Programs

The UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office and the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies have launched the 2027 Chevening OCIS Fellowship. The five‑month programme at the University of Oxford offers fully funded research opportunities for scholars and professionals from 22 eligible countries, covering living expenses, return airfare and research allowances. Applications close on 6 October 2026.

Yale University’s International Leadership Center is also opening applications for the 2027 Yale Peace Fellowship. The fully funded fellowship will select 16 emerging leaders for a series of virtual sessions from March to June 2027, followed by a week‑long in‑person seminar at Yale from 12‑16 April 2027. The programme covers travel, accommodation, food and other costs, with the application deadline on 9 September 2026. Both programmes aim to strengthen research and peace‑building leadership worldwide.
