UK band RULED BY RAPTORS releases new single 'Algebra (I’m On A Rage)' ahead of mini‑album

UK post‑hardcore group RULED BY RAPTORS has issued a new single and video titled “Algebra (I’m On A Rage)”. The track is taken from their forthcoming eight‑track mini‑album A Shadow That Never Moves, scheduled for release on 2 October 2026.

Formed in 2019, the band consists of vocalist/guitarist Chris Bradley, guitarist/vocalist Matt Dewar, bassist/vocalist Nick Oliver and drummer Will Robson. Their previous releases earned them slots at festivals such as Slam Dunk and Bloodstock and airplay on Kerrang! Radio and BBC Introducing. The new song showcases a heavier, more progressive sound while retaining melodic vocals.

Bradley explained that the project expanded from an intended follow‑up EP to a full mini‑album after recording with Sam Cook in December 2023 and delayed work due to family illness. Mixing was handled by Matt Dewar and mastering by Bob Cooper. The band hopes the release will further cement their position in the UK heavy‑music scene.
