UK college students achieve success in science Olympiads

Chemistry Olympiad Biology Olympiad student achievements science competitions UK colleges

Students at Cirencester College and Winstanley College have achieved notable success in recent science Olympiad competitions in the United Kingdom.

At Cirencester College, 42 students participated in the Biology Olympiad and 30 in the Chemistry Olympiad. The Biology participants earned 10 Bronze, four Silver, and one Gold certificate. The Chemistry participants earned 11 Bronze, 12 Silver, and one Gold certificate.

Winstanley College reported its best-ever performance in the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) UK Olympiad. Of the 12 students who entered, all received recognition: seven were awarded Silver certificates and five were awarded Gold certificates. The Gold recipients placed within the top 9.2% of national entrants.
