UK colleges host events for exam results and higher education

Educational institutions across the United Kingdom are marking exam results day through various student support and celebration events.

Winstanley College hosted its annual Higher Education Event, bringing together a diverse range of providers, including Russell Group and specialist universities. The event allowed students to engage in direct discussions regarding course choices, entry requirements, and future academic paths. Support for UCAS and Oxbridge applications was also provided to assist students in their progression.

Simultaneously, City & Guilds representatives visited several colleges, including York College, West Nottinghamshire, Sandwell, and Oaklands, to celebrate student success in vocational and technical programmes. Officials noted high success rates in Level 3 and T Level results, highlighting the growing importance of vocational skills in helping young people enter key employment sectors.
