UK community events scheduled for Bank Holiday weekend

Several community events are scheduled for the upcoming Bank Holiday on Monday, August 31, across different regions of the United Kingdom.

In Northumberland, the Stamfordham Classic and Sports Car Show is celebrating its 10th anniversary at Stamfordham Playing Fields. The event, which began in 2016, has grown to feature over 400 vehicles, including pre-war classics, military vehicles, supercars, and JDM models. The show is organized by volunteers for charitable purposes, supporting local schools, churches, and village facilities. Entry is free with suggested donations.

In Norfolk, the 78th Aylsham Show will take place at Blickling Hall Park. This agricultural event features livestock, equestrian competitions, and countryside demonstrations such as falconry and sheepdog displays. The show also includes motocross, jousting, and various food markets, following a 2025 attendance of approximately 17,500 people.
