UK Conservative Party suspends Jack Ross following Al Jazeera investigation
The UK Conservative Party has suspended Jack Ross, a former election candidate and CEO of Turning Point UK (TPUK), following an undercover investigation by Al Jazeera. The documentary, titled ‘Contract Killers and the Far Right’, features footage of Ross discussing the costs associated with hiring contract killers.
In the investigation, which involved an undercover reporter joining TPUK, Ross was filmed suggesting that physical attacks, including stabbings and shootings, could be arranged for specific amounts of money. He also reportedly offered to broker services involving a far-right activist with alleged paramilitary links.
A spokesperson for the Conservative Party stated that Ross’s membership has been suspended with immediate effect pending an investigation, noting that they cannot comment further while the process is ongoing.
