UK courts ban two women from owning pets after animal neglect

In Rochdale, 44‑year‑old Anne Marie Wood pleaded guilty to an animal welfare offence after her Bichon Frise, Tilly, suffered a broken leg and was euthanised when she failed to obtain necessary veterinary treatment.
