UK drug dealers jailed for crack cocaine supply
Two separate drug-related sentencing cases in the United Kingdom have resulted in prison terms for individuals involved in the supply of crack cocaine.
Aleksei Mutovkin, 22, was sentenced at Reading Crown Court to two years and eight months in prison after pleading guilty to possession with intent to supply a Class A drug. The conviction followed a Thames Valley Police investigation in Bracknell, where officers discovered drug paraphernalia and crack cocaine in a vehicle on Foresters Way.
In a separate case, cousins Petrit Kolendreu, 27, and Xhovani Gjonaj, 29, were jailed at Cambridge Crown Court for their roles in a ‘cuckooing’ operation in Peterborough. The pair had taken over the flat of a vulnerable individual to use as a base for selling crack cocaine. Gjonaj received a 52-month sentence, while Kolendreu was sentenced to 47 months after admitting to possession with intent to supply and being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.
