UK drug dealers sentenced for dangerous driving and drug offenses

William Mead, a 22‑year‑old from Blacon, Chester, was sentenced by Chester Crown Court to 28 months’ imprisonment after being found guilty of supplying cocaine, possession with intent to supply, and multiple driving offences. Police stopped his Surron electric motorbike on Western Avenue when he rode it dangerously on footpaths and evaded officers. A search uncovered a wrap of cocaine, a large sum of cash and a mobile phone with incriminating messages. In addition to the custodial term, Mead was disqualified from driving for 23 months.

Louie Jorgensen, 25, from Middlesbrough, received a five‑year prison term from Teesside Crown Court after a high‑speed police chase in his Mercedes. During the stop officers recovered 61 bags of crack cocaine and eight wraps of cocaine, valued at about £3,680, together with pepper spray. He was convicted of possession of crack and cocaine with intent to supply and of carrying an offensive weapon. Jorgensen was also banned from driving for four and a half years.
