UK drug trafficking cases lead to multiple sentencings
Three men from Surrey and Hampshire have been sentenced for their involvement in a drug supply chain. Luke Lawrence-Hunte, a rapper known as Rokky, received a prison sentence of five years and three months. Police investigations, aided by digital evidence from mobile phones, identified Lawrence-Hunte as a primary controller of the supply line. During a search of his home, officers recovered cash, ketamine, cocaine, and a large knife.
In a separate case at Lerwick Sheriff Court, three individuals from the Manchester area were sentenced for trafficking cocaine to the Shetland Islands. Malachai Blackhurst, Reece Burke, and Ellie Walker admitted to supplying 336 grams of Class A drugs, which had a potential street value of over £41,000. The court heard that the defendants were “little cogs” in a larger criminal operation and faced various personal vulnerabilities, including debt and health issues.
