UK educational and career initiatives announced for youth

Various educational and career initiatives are being launched in the United Kingdom to support young people. In Greater Manchester, On The Streets Education is hosting an open day on September 30 at Sacred Heart Church in Gorton. The event is designed for parents, carers, and professionals to learn about services supporting young people with special educational needs and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) requirements.

In North Wales, the Pathways to Success event will take place on October 17 at Venue Cymru in Llandudno. Organized by the North Wales Tertiary Alliance—including Coleg Cambria, Grŵp Llandrillo Menai, Bangor University, and Wrexham University—the event aims to connect young people with over 1,000 education, training, and employment opportunities. The initiative follows data indicating a high rate of young people in North Wales not in education, employment, or training.
