UK Epstein survivors seek inquiry into Prince Andrew's ties

The UK Epstein Survivors Campaign is seeking political support to launch an extensive public inquiry into the connections between the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and members of the British elite. The campaign intends to meet with UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham to advocate for “truth and justice,” citing newly released US Department of Justice documents as a basis for the request.

The campaign specifically highlighted the need for transparency regarding records and correspondence involving Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, the Duke of York, and Lord Peter Mandelson. Both men were previously arrested in February on suspicion of misconduct in public office for allegedly disclosing government information to Epstein, though they were released while under investigation and have both categorically denied any wrongdoing.

Survivors have expressed frustration that the release of these individuals from investigation has delayed justice. The campaign is calling for a broad inquiry into powerful figures who may have “enabled, facilitated, or failed to stop Epstein’s global sexual abuse and trafficking network.”
