UK festive attractions launch seasonal light trails and sensory-friendly events

Several festive attractions in the United Kingdom are expanding their seasonal offerings for the upcoming Christmas period.

Knowsley Safari has announced a reimagined Enchanted light trail running from November 20 to December 23. The event features nature-inspired installations, such as an illuminated forest and a Tiger Trail with glowing tiger eyes and oversized insect models. The experience includes a Winter Village with seasonal food and an upgraded Santa’s grotto.

Meanwhile, the Winter Glow event at the Three Countries Showground in Malvern is increasing its accessibility by offering expanded sensory-friendly sessions. Running from November 20 to December 31, the event includes low-sensory ice skating, light trails, and Father Christmas experiences with reduced music volume and lower visitor capacity. The site also features the West Midlands’ largest indoor ice rink and UV Glow Crazy Golf.
