UK festive light trails prepare for upcoming holiday seasons

Festive light trail attractions are preparing for the upcoming holiday seasons in the United Kingdom. In the West Midlands, the Winter Glow event at Malvern's Three Counties Showground has extended its ‘Kids Go Free’ promotion for the Classic Light Trail. Children under 10 can access the experience for free until October 31 when accompanied by a paying adult.

The 2026 Winter Glow theme, ‘The Tale of Atlas Frost,’ will feature over 20 unique installations and new immersive light features. The event also includes an indoor ice rink, UV Glow Crazy Golf, and a Christmas market.

Other regional light trails are scheduled across Essex, London, and Hertfordshire for the 2026-2027 period, with attractions like Lightopia offering structured outdoor exhibitions using light and sound to create festive displays.
