UK financial advisers consider simplified advice models

Research from Vanguard indicates that approximately 59% of UK financial advisers are considering adapting their processes to offer simplified advice. This shift is driven by an interest in reaching younger investors and managing intergenerational wealth transfer.

Advisers believe simplified models could help engage beneficiaries who inherit wealth sooner than expected, particularly as changes to pension inheritance tax rules are anticipated. While firms focused on long-term growth showed high receptivity, interest was lower among businesses specializing in succession planning or those catering primarily to high-net-worth clients who already have established demand.
