UK fuel prices reach yearly highs amid rising petrol and diesel costs

UK fuel prices have reached their highest levels of the year. According to the RAC, average petrol prices hit 170.54p per litre on September 15, the highest since August 2022, while diesel reached 192.86p, its highest since July 2022.

In Norfolk, the cheapest petrol was recorded at 159.9p per litre at a Shell station on the A140, with diesel at the same location priced at 176.9p per litre. Other competitive petrol prices in the region include Jet in Norwich at 164.9p and Tesco in Stalham at 166.9p.

In the Nottingham area, motorists can find petrol prices below the national average. The lowest recorded petrol price was 162.7p at Asda in West Bridgford, while the cheapest diesel was 183.9p at Tesco in Beeston.
