Cumberland Council schedules 2026 roadworks on Oulton and Priory Drive
Cumberland Council announced roadworks on the A595 near Oulton (Kirkbride to Oulton at Corbet Houses) for 11 August 2026. United Utilities Water will install a new water meter in the carriageway chamber, with work taking place the entire day.
Separate works are planned on Priory Drive in Cleator Moor from 29 July to 3 August 2026. United Utilities Water will carry out tankering work to prevent blockages or foul flooding, with the operation running continuously over the five‑day period.
