A private WhatsApp group has been set up for UK National Lottery millionaires to share experiences, advice and charitable ideas. The network is overseen by Andy Carter, the National Lottery’s long‑time “fixer”, who has assisted more than 2,500 winners in managing a combined £4 billion of sudden wealth.

Members use the chat to exchange holiday photos, discuss philanthropic projects and organise volunteer activities, such as a “millionaire makeover” of a pre‑school garden at Sacrewell Farm near Peterborough and a community lunch at Cegin Hedyn in Carmarthen. The group also provides a space for winners to support each other after life‑changing wins, as highlighted during a gathering of winners at Birmingham Botanical Gardens.

The size of individual winnings remains confidential within the group, but participants report that the shared experience helps them navigate the challenges of overnight wealth and encourages collective charitable giving.
