UK Petra sets MURI record with 275-tenant business fair

UK Petra Surabaya has set a Museum Rekor-Dunia Indonesia (MURI) record for hosting the largest number of booths in a single university-led exhibition. The Petranesian Business & Education Fair (PBEF) 2026, held at Galaxy Mall Surabaya, featured 275 tenants.

Approximately 90 percent of the participants were business units owned by students and alumni, spanning sectors such as food and beverage and creative MSMEs. The three-day event attracted roughly 50,000 visitors and generated transaction values approaching Rp2 billion.

During the closing ceremony, Rector Prof. Rolly Intan emphasized the university's commitment to instilling business ethics and mental resilience in students, aiming to produce graduates who prioritize integrity and social impact alongside profit. The event also served as a platform for the launch of the Petranesian Impact digital application.
