UK police appeal following sexual assaults in Harrogate and Nottingham

Police in the United Kingdom are appealing for information following two separate sexual assault incidents occurring on Sunday, 6 September.

In Harrogate, North Yorkshire Police reported that a woman was assaulted on The Stray at approximately 8:30 pm. The victim was walking between Knaresborough Road and Wetherby Road when an unknown man approached and assaulted her before fleeing on foot toward Wetherby Road. The suspect is described as a tall, skinny White man wearing shorts, a blue/green running jacket, and a white baseball cap.

In Nottingham, authorities are investigating a serious sexual assault that took place near Forest Road West, close to the Nottingham Arboretum, around 1:40 am. The suspect is described as a man in his 20s or 30s, approximately 5’6” tall with a regular build and short, wavy black hair. He was reportedly wearing a light-blue top, dark trousers, and trainers. Detectives are urging the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity.
