UK police broaden probe into Prince Andrew's alleged sexual misconduct

Thames Valley Police have expanded their investigation into Prince Andrew, examining further allegations of sexual misconduct, corruption and abuse of position linked to his attendance at Royal Ascot in 2002. The probe now includes claims that the former Duke of York behaved inappropriately towards a woman during the event and revisits earlier allegations of sexual assault tied to his association with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Prince Andrew was previously arrested in February on suspicion of misconduct in public office and released while under investigation.

In a separate account, royal biographer Andrew Lownie, preparing a new edition of his book, alleges that Prince Andrew used a vulgar pickup line—"What’s it feel like to have the royal c*ck against your thigh?"—and recounts other inappropriate behavior, underscoring a pattern of alleged entitlement and misconduct.

Police have urged anyone with relevant information to come forward as the inquiry pursues "all reasonable lines of inquiry".
