UK police hunt escaped inmate Jason McDonagh, who frequents Ireland

Jason McDonagh, 34, absconded from HMP Springhill on 23 June last year and remains at large. Thames Valley Police have renewed their appeal for information, describing him as a white male, about 5 ft 9 in tall, medium build, with ginger hair and facial hair, last seen in a grey tracksuit and white vest.

Police say McDonagh is known to travel across several UK regions—including Bristol, the West Midlands, Leicestershire, Leeds and Bradford—as well as Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Staff Investigator Claire Busby urged anyone with tips to call 999 or 101 and to contact Crimestoppers anonymously if preferred, warning the public not to approach the suspect directly.
