UK Premium Bonds monthly draw schedule and prize checking

Premium Bonds are a UK government‑backed savings product run by National Savings and Investments (NS&I). Instead of paying interest, each £1 bond entered is entered into a monthly prize draw held on the first working day of the month, with results announced the following day. The 2026 draw dates include January 2, February 2, March 2, April 1, May 1, June 1, July 1, August 3, September 1, October 1, November 2 and December 1.

Investors must hold at least £25 and can hold up to £50,000. Prizes range from £25 to £1 million, with two millionaires created each draw. The odds of any single £1 bond winning are roughly 1 in 22,000. Winners can verify their numbers using the NS&I online prize checker or the NS&I mobile app by entering their bond numbers.

The scheme currently has about 22 million participants and over £137 billion invested, making it a significant, risk‑free savings option for UK savers.
