UK Pride festivals in Bristol and Brecon highlight LGBTQ+ community

Bristol Pride, held over two weeks in late June and early July, features a city‑wide parade that starts in Castle Park and ends at the Harbourside before moving to The Downs for a multi‑stage outdoor festival. The event emphasizes inclusivity and community interaction, with music, drag performances and food vendors.

Brecon Pride returns on 25 July with a free parade from Dinas Road Car Park to King George V Playing Field, followed by live music, stalls and performances by LGBTQIA+ artists. Run entirely by volunteers, the festival provides visibility for LGBTQIA+ individuals in rural Mid Wales, especially as nearby Hay Pride has been cancelled for 2026 due to staffing and funding shortfalls.
