UK sees former police station and bank converted into housing

In Surrey, a developer has submitted fresh plans to remodel a former NatWest bank on Worplesdon Road in Guildford. The proposal would create two commercial units and six new homes, comprising flats and two semi‑detached houses, and includes twelve off‑street parking spaces. The application follows earlier rejected schemes and argues the reduced density meets national and local housing targets while minimizing impact on neighbouring properties.
