UK students celebrate GCSE and BTEC exam results

Students across different educational institutions in the United Kingdom are celebrating their GCSE and BTEC results.

At Vanguard School, a special school in Lambeth supporting autistic children, Year 11 students marked the milestone with various post-16 pathways planned, including further education and vocational training. Headteacher Rachael Clements noted that the results reflect the individual progress and strengths of the students.

Gordon's School also reported strong academic performance, maintaining its position among the top five per cent of schools nationally for GCSE Value-Added. More than 89 per cent of students achieved at least five passes, including English and maths, while 100 per cent of BTEC Level 2 candidates achieved passing grades. Headmaster Andrew Moss attributed the success to the resilience and hard work of the students.
