UK supermarkets issue recalls for food and skincare products

Various products, including food, clothing, and skincare, have been recalled from UK supermarkets such as Tesco and Asda due to health concerns. The Food Standards Agency (FSA) has issued “do not eat” warnings for certain food items, while the Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS) has advised consumers to “stop using” recalled items immediately.

Skincare brand Simple is specifically recalling certain batches of its Kind to Skin Micellar Cleansing Water in the UK and the Republic of Ireland. The recall affects 200ml, 400ml, and 730ml bottles due to the potential presence of bacteria that could cause eye inflammation. The company advised customers to check batch codes on the bottom of the bottles and contact their Consumer Careline for a refund.
