UK suspects in triple murder and rape‑murder cases face police hunts and convictions

British police are searching for Ndodana Mkhanyisi "Mark" Tshuma, a 45‑year‑old man alleged to have killed his wife Zandile Tshuma and their two daughters, ages 15 and 5, in Bedfordshire. The victims were found dead on a Monday after friends reported they had lost contact with the family. Tshuma left the United Kingdom on the Saturday before the murders were discovered, travelling to Zimbabwe, and authorities have appealed for his extradition.

In a separate case, Michael Tomson, a 56‑year‑old former boxer, was convicted in Northampton of raping and murdering his 43‑year‑old estranged wife, Kimberly. Investigators said Tomson staged a fake suicide scene, planting empty alcohol bottles and prescription packs to mislead officers. The trial revealed a pattern of intimidation and a disputed death of a former partner in 2000, previously ruled an accident. Tomson was found guilty of murder, rape and perverting the course of justice.
