UK Trade Minister Anas Sarwar visits Philippines

UK Minister for Trade Anas Sarwar and British Ambassador to the Philippines Sarah Hulton visited the Jollibee BGC Triangle Drive store in Taguig City on September 23. The visit, which included a tour of the restaurant and a meeting with Jollibee Group Chairman and Founder Dr. Tony Tan Caktiong and Global Chief Business Support Officer William Tan Untiong, marks the first ministerial visit by a UK Trade Minister to the Philippines in nine years.

During the visit, the dignitaries explored the menu and met with restaurant staff. The event is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen bilateral engagement between the United Kingdom and the Philippines.
