UKAPAN bakery reopens in Mashiki, Kumamoto

The bakery UKAPAN, which was previously popular in Nishihara Village, has reopened in Mashiki Town, Kumamoto Prefecture. Described as an ‘alternative-style bakery’ with a unique worldview, the shop features a long-house style storefront.

During its recent opening, many products, particularly hard-style breads, sold out within an hour. Due to difficulties in obtaining materials following recent earthquake impacts, the variety of available items remains limited.
