Čukarički beats Radnički 2-0 in Niš as Milan Đoković scores tribute to late mother
In the second round of the Serbian SuperLiga, FK Čukarički visited the Čair stadium in Niš and defeated Radnički 2‑0. Uroš Miladinović opened the scoring in the 26th minute, and Milan Đoković added a second two minutes later. The win gave Čukarički its first three points of the season, while Radnički remained winless after two defeats.
The match gained additional attention when Đoković, whose mother had died a week earlier, fell to his knees after scoring and looked toward the sky. Teammates rushed to his side, and coach Marko Jakšić explained that the goal was dedicated to his mother, saying it was “a priceless moment” for the young player. The game also featured a dominant possession by Radnički, a missed penalty by Isak Abas in the 78th minute, and several chances for both sides, but Čukarički’s defence, led by goalkeeper Đorđe Nikolić, held firm throughout.
