UKC RS and Trebinje Hospital partner on medical specialties and staff housing

The University Clinical Center (UKC) of Republika Srpska and the Hospital 'Sveti arhiđakon Stefan – 9. januar' in Trebinje have announced an expanded partnership. The collaboration will focus on neurosurgery, orthopedics, and the development of cardiology.

Nikola Šobot, director of the UKC, stated that the partnership includes a joint project to construct housing for young doctors and essential medical staff in both Trebinje and Banja Luka. This initiative aims to address personnel shortages within the healthcare system of Republika Srpska. Additionally, Šobot announced the upcoming opening of 550 new parking spaces at the UKC garage to alleviate congestion in Banja Luka.
