UKC RS reconstructs parking area at south wing in Banja Luka
The University Clinical Center of Republika Srpska (UKC RS) in Banja Luka has begun reconstructing the parking area in front of its south wing. The project aims to address the poor condition of the existing surfaces, which had become largely unusable.
The reconstruction focuses on renovating and asphalt paving the existing area rather than increasing its total capacity. Key improvements include enhanced access for emergency vehicles, patients, and staff. The plan specifically prioritizes designated spaces for persons with disabilities and provides dedicated areas for taxi vehicles.
Despite the ongoing works, parking will remain free of charge for all patients and visitors. UKC RS has organized alternative access routes and pedestrian paths to ensure uninterrupted movement to the facility during the construction period.
