Ukraine and Turkey sign free trade agreement

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan have signed a free trade agreement. Following a meeting in Turkey, Zelenskyy announced a goal to increase the trade volume between the two nations from $1 billion to $10 billion.

During the discussions, the leaders also addressed peace negotiations and security. Zelenskyy expressed openness to negotiations and stated that Ukraine is prepared to participate in a peace summit if President Erdoğan hosts such a meeting. The two leaders also discussed security matters, noting a strong potential for partnership in military-related issues.
