Ukraine approves first export of attack drones to United States, bolstering Kyiv's drone campaign

Ukraine has authorized its first official export of combat-capable attack drones. The State Export Service cleared delivery of 2,000 F10 drone systems from Ukrainian manufacturer F‑Drones to the United States Armed Forces, marking the first time Kyiv ships fully‑assembled combat drones to a foreign army.

The move follows Ukraine's rapid development of drone expertise during the war with Russia, which previously involved only components or technology transfers. The United States, along with wealthier Middle‑Eastern nations and EU members, have sought Ukrainian drone designs to strengthen their own forces.

At the same time, Ukraine's secretive elite Kairos battalion of the 414th Brigade continues deep‑strike operations inside Russia. Using large‑scale attack drones capable of ranges up to 1,500 km, the unit has targeted oil refineries, gas facilities and military logistics centres, reporting attacks that created dense smoke over Moscow and other Russian cities. Members undergo strict security measures, including polygraph testing.

Ukrainian officials say the export and ongoing strikes demonstrate Kyiv’s growing role as a global supplier of drone warfare technology.
